School District No. 9-Pella

School District No. 9-Pella was formed in 1863 but there are no extant census records before 1880. F M Laycook was the district Secretary that year, and these are the families whose children attended the school: Alps, Bashor, McCaslin, Carter, Evans, Gallagher, Hankins, Laycook, Runyan, Stoner, Turner, Ulrey and Zweck.
