Boulder Pioneers Project

School District No. 28-Sunshine was formed in 1875 but there are no extant census records before 1885. C W Smith was Secretary of the district that year and these are some of the families whose children attended the school: Church, Eby, Fuller, Galusha, Goddard, Sights, Smith & Sherwood.The 1900 Sunshine school still stands and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
