School District No. 47-Lyons

School District No. 47-Lyons was formed in 1880 but there are no extant census records for this district before 1885. Edward S Lyon was the Secretary of the district that year, and these are some of the families whose children attended the school: Cooley Fillings,m Lyon, Pounder, Spaulding, Shinkle, Sosey and Walker.
